As the end of your 30th birthday draws to a close I sit here laughing and crying all at the same time.  My mom made a comment on your 'wicked since of humor' and that reminded me of the day we celebrated Paige's b'day. That last birthday you were there for.  It's funny how memories come to us.  We celebrated Paige's b'day on Doug's b'day in 2007.  What made me laugh and cry was remembering how you showed Megan a video of Sunny "taking a dump".  I remember when I saw you video taping it and asked you what you were doing.  I remember laughing when you told me you, Doug and friends would send things ('crap like that') to each other on your phones. Thanks for the memories.

Dear andrew, I love you dearly. I remember when we used to hang out in my room and play play station. It was fun. Anyway i wrote you a poem because now i like writting poetry so here we go:

Brothers are important

they hold when you are lost

there you best friends

when one goes

wow! flashes fo nothing

your mind goes blank

do you remember your childhood

some of it i think

but you still have an extra

brotherto hang on too

but he is going to sleep too

when you loose some one you love

what can you do

hold on in the future

you see them again

maybe not too soon though

so hold them in your hands

I remember the time that we were in the woods by the cabin and your Dad was putting up his tree stand and the chain on it rattled. We were on the ground near the tree and you pointed off into the woods and a short ways away from us stood 3 or 4 deer that had been attracted to the noise of the chain rattling. We all thought that was so cool to see.

Dear Andrew,

Yesterday, your family and friends got together to remember you for your birthday at the golf outing your brother and Dad put together.  What a great sucess it was!  It was wonderful to see so many people there for you!  It was a real tear jerker for many of us, honoring you, not having you there.  As I stay up late again, thinking of you and crying by myself,  I remember all of the good times we all shared with you.  I  told BJ today that I still had all of the ribbons you traded him for and that I would have to give them back to him.  I reminded Nick about the time Paige cuddled up with him on the sofa when she was sleep walking and he was spending the night.  So many memories..................

My memories of Andrew always turn into a huge smile. Everytime he was around I was laughing and having a wonderful time. He was so full of energy... he had a glow about him. A very special glow that made me and everyone around just light up too. I miss his pranks that he pulled constantly and how far he'd go out of his way just to have others smile and laugh. I miss him and am proud and thankful I have these memories that last forever.
